I created this thread for Edwin from the Netherlands who is on the DPC team.

Edwin, from what I see you're using a Pentium D 3.0 w/1Gram and running windows XP pro SP2.

I've extracted all your results and placed them in my spreadsheet. They are in order of oldest (top) to newest (bottom). You can see them Here.

When trying to troubleshoot an issue I try to find things in common that might help narrow down the issue. Unfortunately, in your case I can't find anything. You get both Error codes 107xxx and Watchdog timer errors with any combination. I.E they happened with both Boinc 5.4.9 and 5.4.11, and they happened with Rosetta app 5.32 and 5.34. They happened with many different types of WUs so it doesn't appear to be WU related.

The only thing I see that they have in common is your computer. Having said that, I'd recommend you clean your computers insides with canned air to clean out the dust bunnies from the mobo, cpu, ram, and PSU (and anywhere else they reside). I'd also recommend you run Memtest86+. Also, if you Overclock this puter, try turning it down a bit.

hope this helps

tony

PS on the lighter side, you are being granted credit for the work after the validation occurs, so you're atleast getting paid.

If the hardware (ram and hard drive tests) passes, there was mention of the screen saver having problems with some systems. (It'd help to identify your video card and video driver version if that ends up being the problem.)
