I would like to know it these two things are related.

Tomorrow I will be giving a presentation on some medical related stuff for my study.

and I would like to know if these two have something related as I would like to know if I can mention things like Rosetta@home that might be able to cure Hormone Diseases.

A person I care for takes a drug, which reduces the amount of estrogen within the body, by binding with the aromatase enzyme, which in turn stops androgen converting to estrogen.

As estrogen is a hormone which can affect certain breast cancers that are estrogen receptor positive types, causing tumours to grow, it is important to limit estrogen in people with these types. These estrogen receptors are themselves protein molecules.

This is one link that I know of between hormones and proteins. I'm sure there are many, many more.

Many thanks.

I found some more hormones... no time to mention / explain them at this moment.

I'll try to promote Rosetta during the presentation.
