I am not a moderator, active, past or in training.

With the number of people on this forum that twist words, how would a mod that is logged on as their mortal be lying if they claimed they weren't a mod? The system quite clearly shows that they're not a mod because the mortal account doesn't have the words "forum moderator" under the name.

It's a lot quieter on the board tonight than I expected. Keep up the good job.

1- Yellow card to Mod T for saying people twist words in here.

2- The anonymity of Mods includes that their mortal accounts do not include their tittle.

3- Mortal Accounts?!!!!!!!! Do mods when becoming mods become immortal, g-d like....eeeck eeeck

3- Of course it has been quieter: moderators, specially one have not been on stirring the hornet's nest to cause troubles.

I'm not taking your pledge. I may be a mod, or I may just be an average poster. You'll never know, so to quote what Woody said to Sid in Toy Story..."So play Nice."

I am playing nice.

If I didnt't I would have issued you a yellow card for being off-topic. (Joking , man I am joking)

Gen X: Believe it or not this thread has helped create a lot of good will among people that just days before were after each others throat. Specially, since it has shown that in addition to the passion we bring to life and to life-projects, we have a sense of humour.

As to the collective "You will never know", don't be that sure of it. The hounds searching for the moderator's identities have very refined sense of smell if not minds . :)

Talking about the hounds: Iwonder if they have their prediction sheets updated?

*grin* Maybe someone should start a BOINC project to analyze the text posted on the message boards and predict who the mods are. We could call it moderator@home :-)

Seriously: One of these days, I might get enough free time to read enough in the message boards to find out what the arguments are about. I donate computer time to several BOINC projects and the things I read in their message boards all runs together anyway. I know there are arguments about credits on several projects, but whether the project looks like it will produce valuable science is the primary determining factor for me. I usually just look for posts where the people running the projects are updating the status of things. Rosetta seems to be great at doing that and I like the valuable science it does, so it has the largest CPU share on my computers.
