Let's write a story, shall we?

Here are the rules:

1) Each post should only be one sentence long. If you absolutely can't get it all into one sentence, then use two, but keep it short.

2) You may post as many times as you like, but you must wait for somebody else to post before you can do so again. (You can't post two times in a row.)

3) Remain on topic. This does not mean that you have to follow a strict storyline of any sort, but keep your contribution at least tangentially relate to the previous few.

4) Try to make it interesting.

I did notice, however, that she had a certain 'alien' look about her; perhaps it was her green tinged skin and the way she kept asking for a "phone home".

I gave her a quarter for the payphone (not remembering that a phone call has never in my life time costed so little) and wondered at the strange effect of fluorescent lights on her skin.

It would of been easy to laugh at her and her misfortunes, had I not looked into her eyes and seen the pain and sorrow that they contained.

I had wondered on first gaze, as everyman does to all females, would I ?

Would I ask her if she was wearing a badly fitting wig or was that her real hair; based on past experience I decided that was probably a bad question to ask; then suddenly....

The lyrics must have clarified things for her because she replied, "Oh! Like the one I carry my spare body in."
