The text in the graphics display (BOINC graphics and screen-saver) is still too small to easily read. It is also poorly displayed graphically adding to the problem. When will you please fix the tiny text problem? I wish the builders of the BOINC program would make all of the smaller text in the GUI a bit larger for easier reading of it's text. It(the text size) in the interface could be made as scalable. Which would make the size up to the user. This should be for all areas of the GUI. The text in this text entry box is also a bit difficult to read, and accessibility options won't fix it. After I close this box with my final text entry complete. The text in the brows window will be larger as by the accessibility options. Thank You BOINC and Rosetta in Advance for Fixing the GUI, and the Graphics display problem. Additionally in the last beta I ran unexpectedly had an indicator I'd like to see added to newer versions. When you put the BOINC in snooze mode the Icon in the system tray changed to indicate the program was paused. An indicator mark was added to the tray icon to show the program was paused. That should be added to newer versions. Version 5.4.11 of BOINC doesn't show this indicator. Thank You Again.

The indicatior is back (slightly altered i think) in the current developmetn releases)

Rosetta cannot fix the BOINC specific problems though, you'll need to ask in the BOINC forums really, though they maybe able to suggest it to the BOINC developers. I take it you woul like 'Accesibility' taken into account,
I don;t think they will be able to alter much for the next BOINC release 5.6.x but maybe after that. Also there is a new simplified GUI being work on by IBM & World Community Grid that should be more alterable.
You could ask Rom directly in here Q&A events at his site (A lead BOINC developer who else helped develop Rosett@Home for BOINC)
You can find out more http://www.romwnet.org/dasblogce/

But Rosetta@Home screenacer/graphics (wibbley mollecules part) certainly could be altered.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. First I must suggest that you do as I have done for quite a while. I use a spellchecker after adding my posts, as partially the text size in this text entry box is somewhat too small to easily read, and because of some minor dexterity problems. Their are some typo's. Corrected before sending my posts. I added the spellchecker. It's part of the Google Explorer bar from "www.Google.com". You might want to check it out. Now on to the GIU problem as I originally said has text size problems. The BOINC has to address the problems with the small text in the GUI. CORRECT!! However, Rosetta has to deal with the text in it's screen saver, as the text is too small to be read by someone with a visual impairment, or even one not having such a problem. BOINC has been apprised of the text sizes and user accessibility's with the GUI. It also (the BOINC GUI version 5.4.11) has a mind of it's own. It is set to suspend it's activity, and has the tendency to reactivate itself without the change by the user. I set the activity either Program / and Network / or both to be as suspended, and if I close the GUI, or terminate the program. Then the next time I open it. It is running again. I want to stop that from happening as when it activates itself it uses valuable resources that I must make available on occasion for other work I'm doing. This is also to include boot up of my computer as my machine is a slower machine than yours probably is: Pentium 3 @605 Mghrtz, 1 Gig SDRAM @ 133 Mghrtz. I need to set the program to Suspended Activity before I close my computer so it hopefully is still Suspended till the machine is allowed to fully boot, or when needed reboot. So it doesn't grab needed system boot resources. I normally activate the program after full boot is completed unless it has already done it by itself. If I close the BOINC while it's been set as suspended, and later open it again . It'll activate itself. Even if I don't want it to do that. Thank You for Your Time.
