I'm going away for a week with one of my laptops. I'd really like to continue this box to crunch Rosetta WU while I'm away, but I won't have an Internet connection there.

Is there a way to request many new WU in one go to process them later?

Just start slowly increasing your Connect to network setting in your General Preferences, after each increase Manually Update the Rosetta Project to see if or how much more work it gives you ...

But beware this setting will propagate across to any other Projects you are running so it's best to Suspend any other Projects while you are doing this. Once you get the amount of WU's you want for the Rosetta Project set the Connect Preference back to what it originally was and then you can start up the other Projects again ...

That's what "Connect to network about every" .... days is for. Set it to 7 (days) in your preferences. In theory, on the next update (manual or automatic) you should get about a week worth of work.

Estimates are set in the work units themselves are not always accurate however, so you may not get exactly a week worth (could be more, or less).
