I travel a good bit and want to process jobs while I am gone without leaving my machine attached to the internet. I have set my preferences re: internet communication to 10 days but still only get about 40 tasks in my queue which is abot 2 days work.

Is there a way to increase the amount of tasks I can download at one time?

BOINC attempts to estimate the amount of time your machine is running. Perhaps it has seen a history of not running as much as in the past. You can easily increase the WU runtime. Be sure not to do so while you have 40 WUs on board. As they will all use the new runtime preference once you update with the project.
