I work as a light technical support phone agent for Pioneer Europe. Since I joined on the team a month ago I have been learning on the fly all the things I need to know. So now they are giving some official training by members of the english team (my team)* over plasma displays, car radios, car navigation, dvd players/recorders and home audio visual products, amps, speakers and such. The amps are what they call media receivers. Rather complicated piece of equipment. So this training next week and the weeks after will help me understand these systems better as well as how to solve some of the more common questions by customers. * There are other teams as well, Benelux region aka all the people that speak dutch (some french), another team covers all of France and not sure if they handle the French section of Belgium or not. Then there is the German team that handles everything from Germany. We were all in one room, but things are changing as the phone setup changes and we become more experienced.
