I am not receiving work on 1 of my computers. It says I am overcommitted. But today is July 19 and the 4 WU's I have are not due until July 24 for 2 and July 25 for 2. I have set my WU's for 4 hours. Therefore I will be done in 16 hours.

Another piece of information I just remembered. I had to set my PC clock ahead one year to test a command to another computer. During that time BOINC was still running, and performed a CPU test.

BOINC may have "learned" that your PC isn't typically on all day and so feels it may take a week to get the 16hrs of crunching. It factors all this in to determine scheduling. Now to worry though, it will learn you now plan to have it on longer each day as well.

If you'd really like some additional WUs on board, you could suspend some of the ones that it has not started yet (well, any of 'em, but those would be the least disruptive) and then update to the project.

You could also change your General Preference to increase the value for "Connect to network about every...days". Then update to the project.

Don't go overboard. You'll get more work. The above would really just be if you are on dial-up and don't plan to be able to connect again for a while.

In fact, you could simply up your WU runtime preference in your Rosetta preferences and then update to the project. The existing WUs will crunch for the new time preference.
