Since starting Rosetta on my Mac there have been at least 3 occassions when at least 1 day of my submitted results have vanished it would be helpful to know if this fault comes from my Computer the server or elsewhere, Also on one of these data loss occasions a serious disk error resulted on my computer. Fortunately running disk utility about 6 times eventually corrected this error.

G'day morrisian

I had a look at your results, the two errors that I can see are BOINC failing to talk to Rosetta@Home, I wouldn't worry about this unless it gets out of hand.

I'm not a Mac user but I had a look at Mac's "disk utility" and it doesn't seem to check for bad blocks on the hard disk, is there a utility that does this in Mac? I ask because to the best of my knowledge BOINC & Rosetta@Home will not cause disk errors, other than occasionally writing very large files.
