I was just wondering what happens to the information that is stored on my computer. Will this eventually be uploaded and removed from computer, or will it gradually get larger and larger? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Rosetta@home!

Yes, once the workunit is done and the results are uploaded the server the rest of the stuff related to the workunit (WU) is removed. We do leave a few things, things that remain constant from WU to WU, to reduce the bandwidth.

We appreciate your contribution.

Rosetta recently stopped sending jobs to me, saying "you have 503 MB of memory, 763 MB is needed". This came intermittently before but did not keep Rosetta from feeding me. I have not changed anything in my computer, so why has it suddenly became more memory hungry? This is version 5.10.28 for Windows.

Rosetta has started giving the same message on my PC! Is there an issue that I need to resolve on my PC?

i thought not, last time there are many "large memory" wu's so they only get sended to pc's with 1024 or more, i thought. but there are still "small memory" wu's. so when its possible you could leave your pc a day on, and you'll get some work.
