Hi,
Running Rosetta with Boinc 5.4.9 installed as a service on Suse 10.0 on a P4 HT machine

Question 1: When I run 2 Rosetta Wus concurrently, I see 8 "processes" called rosetta_5.16_i6 running but just 2 of these 8 apps are using some CPU power. Is it normal ? (I've 1 GB of Ram, so it's OK but are all these apps really using the memory shown below ?)

Question 2: When I stop the Boinc service, rosetta_5.16_i6 apps stay in memory (all the other project are removed from memory). I have to kill them manually if I want the rosetta apps to be removed.
Is it normal ?

Yes, the multiple instance listing is normal. You'll see that only the parent process builds up much of any CPU time.

As to the threads remaining in core, the threads typically flush after a minute or two at the most. Have you tried waiting for an extended time to see if they flush by themselves?

Yes, I have to wait a little for the Rosetta apps to be removed from memory (I was just too impatient and accustomed to the CPDN apps that stop immediatly :o))
