A couple months ago, very quickly after joining rosetta, I stopped running it because it always came up with several errors. I now have it running on my x2 3800 and every morning when I wake up I see that error box saying rosetta caused a problem and had to be terminated. What is causing this? I will be forced to shut this project off yet again if the problems arent fixed. jeff |

Well most of the errors are caused by a windows issue. The reason you are seeing them is because some of the error code was removed from the latest Rosetta release, and the trap that prevents them from showing and does the auto recover is not catching them. All of the projects have the same errors, (I've checked on this). The traps have been redesigned and will be back in the next release of Rosetta in a few days. In the mean time so long as your system does not halt or freeze the science is still valid. Moderator9 ROSETTA@home FAQ Moderator Contact |
