Hi,

As a feature request I would like to pose the preference to limit the application to use only a certain % of the cpu. With some testing I could come to a level where I do a lot of processing, but my cpu fan doesn't need to speed up.

I know I should just buy me a more silent fan, but not al of us are willing to spend additional hardware on projects like this.

Kind regards

Rosetta doesn't assign CPU time, BOINC does, so this is really more of a request for BOINC to implement than Rosetta.

In the meantime, there is an add-on called Threadmaster that allows you to establish maximum CPU % of various tasks.

Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might!
