I guess I could use some more info. When I look at your puter I see these wus on your puter: Disregard any information in my computer. Thos units have become lost units. The computer Froze when trying to upload the results of one of the finished work units ( It tried for more than one hour to upload the results) and It crashed. In the process of bringing back to life, I had to detach from the Project, now I cannot reattach, the BOINC Scheduler is supended . Also a freind tried to attach and he is getting a no go from BOINC. |

I'm getting confused. Is "BOINC" running/crashing/... Is "BOINC Manager" running/crashing/... Is "rosetta_5.07_windows_intelx86.exe" running at near 100% or not. You seem to have had two errored tasks (along with debug info) and one suceful though terminated by the watchdog timer. And another computer has contacted today for a new task (work unit) More information about your setup may help now. Team mauisun.org |

A quick look and it looks like it is probably to do with your setup, since the two failed units have run fine on another computer. Do you overclock? Do you go through a proxy? A firewall ? Run any other project e.g. Seti, Predictor, Einstein, ...? Is it the bog standard 5.2.13 boinc client? Team mauisun.org |

A quick look and it looks like it is probably to do with your setup, since the two failed units have run fine on another computer. I dont overclock ( First of all I would need to know what is that? ) I dont use a proxy? And my ISP is clear in their instructions that I do not use a Firewall. Also given the anti virus program I use. Should I use a firewall I would be stuck in my desk dealing with the messages their firewall sends. (This anti virus program is more paranoid than my dog who will bark at a dust bunny) For the record: Problem was solved. Don't ask me how. I just know I got a new WU. Now if I could get my dog from chewing on my power supply cables ...but I digress. :) |
