Any idea when there will be more work available for processing? |

Work has been available once or twice a day for the last couple of weeks. However, the amount of work is so small that unless your system asks for it as it becomes available, it's all gone within an hour or less. Rosetta as it was (where there was plenty of work regularly available), has pretty much been over for almost 2 years now. Grant Darwin NT |

When i went to bed, i was expecting Rosetta to be out of work, but another large batch has been released. Hopefully the servers will manage to stay up and there won't be any issues this time around. Grant Darwin NT |

When i went to bed, i was expecting Rosetta to be out of work, but another large batch has been released. You had to say it, didn't you. boinc-process server that runs the assimilator and validator is down - 76k tasks awaiting validation I uploaded 5 tasks at 04:35 - 1 has validated, 4 haven't |

Yeah, i jinxed it.When i went to bed, i was expecting Rosetta to be out of work, but another large batch has been released. I started reading here and didn't notice you'd already spotted it by the time I found out. I've just sent a message across in the vain hope someone at the project still reads what I say. And I've asked if there's any better/more responsive person who I'm better to contact in future. That said, it seems quite hard to believe no-one there had already noticed - especially when the whole site goes down <sigh> 220k unvalidated tasks atm |

That said, it seems quite hard to believe no-one there had already noticed - especially when the whole site goes down <sigh> I've just checked. Actually checked twice. The first time I checked, outstanding validation was still several thousand (down from 220k). The second time, it's down to actual zero! The time displayed here is out by an hour. I thought at first it'd been cleared before I sent my email. But now I realise you posted the servers were up 21mins after my email. Still no reply, but I think someone's actually listening. Or it's a complete coincidence... I'm actually quite shocked now tbh. |
