Stranger Things , front page , Total queued jobs: 0 Just came on to say I noticed the same thing, but you got here first with the news. Unsent tasks have now been reduced to zero as well, so no tasks to download for those who were able to download tasks (me) |

Stranger Things , front page , Total queued jobs: 0 Ok, I've just reported this to the admins. Hopefully they're a lot quicker than I am... |

Same http error running on linux with BOINC version 7.20.4. Spun up a clean install Windows VM on the same machine and Rosetta got work right away. |

I'm still waiting for new jobs to be downloaded... since, I think 2 weeks now. Not that I wonder cause sometimes the servers needed for downloads have to be updated as well. @rosetta@home team: Would be just nice to know, that you're working on the troubles or that it is not the fault on your side of the line. Anyway, no stress. It's your work units we're processing here. ;-) cheers |

I am getting the same issues, project backoff on units on my Linux VM, is there a problem sending units to Linux machines?, the units trying to download have almost expired and I will have to cancel them. |

Stranger Things , front page , Total queued jobs: 0 I need to say that while I used to get rapid responses, but on this occasion and on the previous one a couple of months ago, I've had no response at all. Whatever access I thought I had at one time seems to have come to an end, I'm sorry to say... We can only wait |

Yes. I am running boinc client 7.20.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 and I have reset my Rosetta project and turned off getting new tasks first. I am not using VM' just straight Linux. My strategy is to just wait until they say the download server is working before trying again. |

I got some new tasks in my "download pending" que for my Linux system that expire on 25th dec 15:01utc so some part of the rosetta server systems is still trying to send [probably resends] work out to us other than that the microsoftly systems can`t upload or download anything that is stuck in digital hell . |

Is the problem being worked on now? It is now due to a missing certificate which causes the problems of not downloading. For me it works all the time that I can download and send back calculated units (see my account). I just think it's a shame that it doesn't work for my team members and many other users (except for the user "Frostschutz" from whom I got the tip). -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- MIIGpDCCBYygAwIBAgIQLX34hscHGmFRGzZSrcfHojANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQsFADB2 MQswCQYDVQQGEwJVUzELMAkGA1UECBMCTUkxEjAQBgNVBAcTCUFubiBBcmJvcjES MBAGA1UEChMJSW50ZXJuZXQyMREwDwYDVQQLEwhJbkNvbW1vbjEfMB0GA1UEAxMW SW5Db21tb24gUlNBIFNlcnZlciBDQTAeFw0yMjEyMTQwMDAwMDBaFw0yMzEyMTQy MzU5NTlaMF4xCzAJBgNVBAYTAlVTMRMwEQYDVQQIEwpXYXNoaW5ndG9uMSEwHwYD VQQKExhVbml2ZXJzaXR5IG9mIFdhc2hpbmd0b24xFzAVBgNVBAMMDiouYmFrZXJs YWIub3JnMIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEArgcOgQOv2bwm ts+NkUWO2n3nvVhDa1fASv6/a3GkqhOj6fC2W2rdTEkzQh8By+Uo57wRyjh3rp7i pqsb3Swf6WLUfXzIwQSadVhDm//VQGFkXk+uJgi9fjFBkySWApBYTdsVTXu6s79p hmiVcKrrgAIoW0foJDJf2X1zXvhvx6gmrkaIgjr6MojfluSwi5pCzsW25hx2kAfp SJuClnoPIjtwrilSR7J7hEHrX4a+B/hBZiR7PplbbBt+5mcv24plhBk1CRvxG5jS V3edpq0+5AltAf1oQ8KNXUp9RwxBHfroZIQUWaKMuxr1urP11klBCaqWkN9MITFP o90FKL1YWwIDAQABo4IDRDCCA0AwHwYDVR0jBBgwFoAUHgWjd49sluJbh0umtIas cQAM5zgwHQYDVR0OBBYEFHEt1J+PW3VznVKfzCZhk/6n/nP9MA4GA1UdDwEB/wQE AwIFoDAMBgNVHRMBAf8EAjAAMB0GA1UdJQQWMBQGCCsGAQUFBwMBBggrBgEFBQcD AjBnBgNVHSAEYDBeMFIGDCsGAQQBriMBBAMBATBCMEAGCCsGAQUFBwIBFjRodHRw czovL3d3dy5pbmNvbW1vbi5vcmcvY2VydC9yZXBvc2l0b3J5L2Nwc19zc2wucGRm MAgGBmeBDAECAjBEBgNVHR8EPTA7MDmgN6A1hjNodHRwOi8vY3JsLmluY29tbW9u LXJzYS5vcmcvSW5Db21tb25SU0FTZXJ2ZXJDQS5jcmwwdQYIKwYBBQUHAQEEaTBn MD4GCCsGAQUFBzAChjJodHRwOi8vY3J0LnVzZXJ0cnVzdC5jb20vSW5Db21tb25S U0FTZXJ2ZXJDQV8yLmNydDAlBggrBgEFBQcwAYYZaHR0cDovL29jc3AudXNlcnRy dXN0LmNvbTAZBgNVHREEEjAQgg4qLmJha2VybGFiLm9yZzCCAX4GCisGAQQB1nkC BAIEggFuBIIBagFoAHYArfe++nz/EMiLnT2cHj4YarRnKV3PsQwkyoWGNOvcgooA AAGFEa3t+wAABAMARzBFAiEAv/UUZl8akDZkoMKivx94qgStVq2jMS0AcrNUf6l5 epoCICtNAWQTuxNF3qe4gDb+yh2slFoQV4S8YCVtfEfyuIcUAHcAtz77JN+cTbp1 8jnFulj0bF38Qs96nzXEnh0JgSXttJkAAAGFEa3ttQAABAMASDBGAiEArII4K6Pi vuJAm02rwpQEpPlvFpc/kL63zfNXTw7PRCcCIQDHEo5KPmk8/OJ1q9/qqEGR9VAK V1yrC0givn8OY34OCAB1AOg+0No+9QY1MudXKLyJa8kD08vREWvs62nhd31tBr1u AAABhRGt7aMAAAQDAEYwRAIgXQRCCfKZRNO7HysVIrZcJ40QJFC/uMPxSUK/aB4e 7egCIAHfuy351PrIi7l6OzAqDq512jslFc2bntRBkAZV8iRsMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEB CwUAA4IBAQBGL/kGpCE34Fza5p46xZ7veZnXq9vVjJu5oGJmjxjqPM8fzzmxgrO1 DF4QPiQC2OwRQ2DRpidK0AQbHQ/XaHW6K5a8c94daCkHEFSPDg63az716kjdF4Sl pqtSOXNYtSotNMAIZFd8KAuBYsZVQzRTLQlo7YgATFWbxkHPnOi4uv4qtnD00Gqw WRqK6MBkD0LiSo2Tw6NGfagOoqjmf3t8KcMZ+vWo3BGgM2PXUrE59lFSB7cfOSYX lhGy9GrKgMirdwsAXOcQaQw54Y5D7dVfEoaEOKmce5RDX3TCiTtrMHCXEq4OhSPp g36mp4BLTv8eOEGXStlsgAUAPwMonyU5 -----END CERTIFICATE----- Greetings from Daniel |

One thing for shure is DON`T try resetting the project to see if it will download new files I am stuck with an empty Rosetta folder for three days now and it will just have to stay that way till the problems we are having are fixed other projects can help heat the house |

One thing for shure is DON`T try resetting the project to see if it will download new files Well, I did reset the project and deleted everything in the Rosetta folder except app_config.xml a few weeks ago. Then Rosetta left me alone until today, when it tried again. Here is part of my event log report about Rosetta. Same old thing for over two weeks. It takes them over two weeks to realize they are not downloading new work? It did create the required files in the Rosetta folder, but they are all empty, and it does not think it downloaded them (which it didn't). N.B.: this looks more like one task than 17. And is is 14 files, so where did they get the 17 number? When I click `update` I just get this stuff repeated endlessly and the Rosetta folder remains empty of any kind of file with the download server `not running` its about all I expect 04/01/2023 08:00:29 | Rosetta@home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 04/01/2023 08:00:29 | Rosetta@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 04/01/2023 08:00:32 | Rosetta@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 04/01/2023 08:00:32 | Rosetta@home | No tasks sent 04/01/2023 08:00:32 | Rosetta@home | Project requested delay of 31 seconds 05/01/2023 02:47:45 | Rosetta@home | update requested by user 05/01/2023 02:47:46 | Rosetta@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. 05/01/2023 02:47:46 | Rosetta@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 05/01/2023 02:47:49 | Rosetta@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 05/01/2023 02:47:49 | Rosetta@home | No tasks sent 05/01/2023 02:47:49 | Rosetta@home | Project requested delay of 31 seconds 05/01/2023 02:48:24 | Rosetta@home | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 05/01/2023 02:48:24 | Rosetta@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 05/01/2023 02:48:26 | Rosetta@home | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 05/01/2023 02:48:26 | Rosetta@home | No tasks sent 05/01/2023 02:48:26 | Rosetta@home | Project requested delay of 31 seconds Interestingly the `Tasks in progress` does vary , it got down to about 9k and has now gone back up to 23k with only 229 users active in last 24 hours Presuming them to be the last dregs of resends going round and round , timing out and some part of the system thinks it sent them out again but very few if any can actualy download them It would be better if they cancel the lot and start again Nuke it , and restart everything :-) Rosetta has turned into a zombie project that wont speak to its crunchers |

When I click Update, I get this. But is there no system administrator who knows the downloader is down, and has been so for weeks? If there is , they have made no effort to let us know that they are aktualy doing something about it . |

But is there no system administrator who knows the downloader is down, and has been so for weeks? Are they competing with WCG for the longest down time? It took WCG about 8 months to get back up. I think they scheduled about a month for the changeover. And it is not really back up since they used to keep 5 different projects working, and now only one or two. Sometimes three. |
