Hi, I've got my laptop running 24x7 for Rosetta with lower CPU during the night because of fan noise. I find that I keep getting more jobs in the queue and some jobs will time out because other jobs fail (they run for like 2 days with only minutes CPU time so I have to abort them manually). Is it normal for Rosetta to put 28 jobs in the queue while there are 4 jobs running concurrently? The CPU can handle more, it's an 8 core - 16 thread Ryzen 4800H but my memory is the limiting factor. |

The server will send work depending on the settings you have for days of work Try reducing the amount of "days" of work in boinc manager`s options tab to 0.5 + 0.1 [or less] days and that should reduce the que a lot . |

The server will send work depending on the settings you have for days of work I checked that setting, it was already set to 0.5 / 0.1. I've reduced it to 0.1 / 0.05. |

The server will send work depending on the settings you have for days of work Do you have max_concurrent or project_max_concurrent is your app_config.xml? That can sometimes cause excess WUs to be downloaded. |

Checked the projects directory, there is no app_config.xml. Also did a search of the hdd, it can't find one either. |
