Hi,
We are creating an other BOINC Project in order to solve a specific crypto problem. Therefore we need the compiled boinc_api.o to compile our client for the windows platforms.
It would assist us greatly if somebody could mail us this api, so the show can go on ;)

please mail to:

Cheers

I'm no admin, but if you need something BOINC related, you should probably ask the question on the BOINC website instead of this one.
And there's a whole bunch of help available to people creating projects there, too...

Hi, this is a project using boinc and not the developers of boinc themselves (though the release manager is helping them out)

Anyways, you'll want to look at these pages
BOINC Homepage http://boinc.berkeley.edu/
Getting and building boinc software http://boinc.berkeley.edu/compile.php from the homepage

Also you will probably want to joins some of the mailing lists (where most the real talking happens)
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/email_lists.php
specifically boinc_dev and boinc_projects
Also there are the BOINC message boards
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/ but they seem useless and just full of banter as strangly most boinc community talk happens on the seti forum (why I don't know, guess people forget about the boinc forum

The promotional activities for Rosetta are FINALLY having an effect, no doubt about that :-)

On most days, R@H is the 2nd fastest growing (in # of hosts) BOINC project, after SETI@home (I think in the case of SETI@home a lot of the "new" hosts might be duplicates due to detaches / re-attaches).
