Jose, good to hear that some of the jobs went through. I can sympathize
with your difficulties. I was having a lot of trouble with a ralph build
for Windows -- it kept giving me the same error that you always saw (x0000005)!
(I eventually fixed things by doing a clean rebuild.) Keep us posted on anymore errors.

...Re the lettuce and sunflower seeds: this guinea pig likes BBQ Beef ...

Me too. That's why I want Rosetta to cure this mad cow stuff.

OH, believe me, XS is doing all that they can to put a stop to these Mad Cows.

[color=darkred][b]

I should make a personal note here.

I would like to point out that no cows were injured during this discussion, and any similarity between this discussion and any particular cow that might be inferred by my original remark is purely coincidental and unintentional.

Allow me a smile.

So if I read you right , I can stop posting the successful completion of Wu's within the batch in question. If there are no more errors , I will post to inform the completion of the Wu's in the batch and to ask your advice on a little experiment I want to run.

Please note that it seems (at least to my non techie self) that once the units from hell were exorcised 5.01 seems to be operating in a more efficient way ( more red dots for example, more steps per "cycle", etc) than the previous version was .)

Ian, hopefully they will know. The wiki says:

ERR_FILE_TOO_BIG -131 file size too big an output file was bigger than max_nbytes

Drat, it seems the gremlins that affected my machine are doing a lot of harm to the Wu's, This one even gave out some credit.

I may have to ask a friend to check my computer.

Same error message as the previous one.

I will wait patentienly till all the current wus destroy themseleves. Will Detach, do a nice scan to my computer and reattach . I will also be joining RALPH.

As I wait for all the WUs in the current batch to noink out.

OK, I detached and reattached and I am doing a frantic voodoo dance in the hope that my computer/Boinc and Rosetta align and start working efficiently again.. As I cross my fingers and toes

Latter Edit: Since it is clear I am a glutton for punishment, I will attempt to join RALPH again. Will some one shoot me and end my misery? At the rate I am going I will join the "Rosetta Hall of Duds" in record time. (Insert a not happy emotie here.)

Jose,

If you can hang on for just a short time more, help is on the way. The new release of Rosetta is completing testing in RALPH right now as I write this and should be deployed soon

Okies I noticed several Types of WU's not listed in Rosetta List you provided that have appeared in my RALPH Workload:

AB_CASP6******
FA_CASP6******
LOWCYCLE_INTERVAL_3600_DOG****
JUMPTEST******

Is there a place where I van find what these names means?

TIA

The list is for Rosetta. As Work Unit types pass RALPH testing and are approved for Deployment in Rosetta they will be added to the list.

I have moved your original question and my answer here to keep the notice thread clean, and also because the other thread will be deleted when it purpose has been served
