Okay, using Rosetta@Home through BOINC as my screensaver.

HOW can I access the "s" "b" and "c" options to change the display options when that wakes my computer up? Thanks for any tips around this; would really love to play around with this. Using Windows Pro 64. Thanks so much!

Indeed those won’t work when the graphics are running as a screensaver…

But you can use them when running the graphics standalone. (In BOINC Manager’s advanced view, on the Tasks tab, select a running task and click the Show graphics button.)

No, you shouldn’t need to pause first. Is the button disabled even after clicking on a task (that’s showing Running in the Status column) in the list?

Okay, says "suspended computer in use" but I just changed my settings to allow for running in the background...let me restart BOINC Manager and update?

And...finally remembered to use my Web settings to override Local settings. BADDA BING BADDA BOOM. Thank you so much! :)

You rock.

It feels good to use the Internet for Smart People Stuff again (ancient BitNet/CuNix Internet fossil here).
