The length of time your machine processes a task helps you produce more models. The best way to improve your odds of finding the lowest energy is to complete more models. WU runtime makes no difference. The length of time you take to fill in the dots on a lottery ticket does not impact your odds of winning. Someone will win, even if they do a quick pick.
