Feel free to move if in the wrong place.

I had a suspicion that the screensaver was crashing my computer (not all the time, seems to crash sometimes when it is showing the progress of work units).

I changed it to be foldingathome demo, then updated that and during the reinstallation forgot to redefault the screensaver away from boinc rosetta progress, and again, it's started crashing my computer.
Windows 10
boinc fully up to date
i7 7700K
1080 GPU
16 GB ram

A screensaver that crashes computers is less than useful, so unless this is somehow a one off bug for just me, would consider scrapping it entirely as:
1) puts me off roestta at home
2) stops work units progressing because crashed
3) can't be good for my PC to force it to reboot

Are you only running Rosetta or are there other projects involved?

I've had it happen to me a couple times. I think it's better to just not use the BOINC screen saver. BTW, what is the GPU of the computer where this happened?

The GPU is a 1080 (Nvidia), but as R@H doesn't use GPU's I set that to F@H when I'm asleep and leave R@H running all of the time.

F@H was installed but not running at the time of crash as it was mid-day, I set my GPU to F@H when I'm asleep.

Only other things were normal things, firefox, slack, discord etc.

Hmm, I'm not sure I've ever heard of the screen saver crashing a computer. If this happens again, there should be a stderrgfx.txt file in the slot directory. It may provide some info.

If you give me the exact path to go into from c:// I'll try and extract it, but struggling to find it at the moment, given that this has happened multiple times I'd guess there should be one already? Only on the first boot since it last happened.

Only thing that might potentially get in the way of that is I just updated the url to be the https:// so I removed the old project.
