On one of my machines that's on dialup I have a wu that finished in 28 hours and it is stuck at 'ready to report'. When I dial in and click 'update' it doesn't want to report the results. This has been going on for a day or two. Any ideas what to do about it? Thanks.

What does it say in the "message tab" when you try it, it should look like:

4/15/2006 3:01:53 PM|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi
4/15/2006 3:01:53 PM|SETI@home|Reason: Requested by user
4/15/2006 3:01:53 PM|SETI@home|Reporting 1 tasks
4/15/2006 3:01:58 PM|SETI@home|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded

except it should say "Rosetta" instead of "Seti".

Thanks, but I just rebooted the machine and tried again and it reported normally. I suppose I should have tried that first before making a post.

Some of the differences you are seeing could be the random number used when the Work Unit starts. I have been advised that this number is now provided from the server with the Work Unit, so they will all be different even if the Work Units start at the same time.

Hmm...Ok. But I really think it was my machine. A SETI unit was well over 120 hours also and finished up in a few hours after I rebooted. Just thought you should know.
