Good day,

I thought I would post just to plug "FoldforCovid" which is a ready-made OS you write to your Raspberry Pi SD card using Balena Etcher. I just discovered it this evening while writing a Ubuntu image to an SD card to try out R@H on a Pi 4 4GB. It's about as easy as it gets...download from link below, write to SD card, boot, wait (for downloads...doesn't do a good job of showing you that progress), and eventually it will fire up tasks. I just started about an hour ago and it seems like everything I was really looking for...lightweight text-based UI, no unnecessary OS bloat, boinc autostarts, remote management through web interface...pretty slick.

https://foldforcovid.io/#get-started

Four things I learned that might be good to know.
1) If you're an existing R@H user, you can detach from the project at first boot and re-attach to Rosetta in order to login with your own personal credentials instead of the OS's built in ones (designed for new users to get started fast and easy).
2) If you have a keyboard plugged into the Pi it will be non-functional after boot. You have to interact with the UI via the http://foldforcovid.local/ UI from a web browser on another machine.
3) After the necessary Rosetta files downloaded and four tasks were running, the total disk usage was around 6GB, so a 16GB SD card should be a safe minimum size.
4) I've only been trying it for about an hour, but in that time it has gone unresponsive twice. I don't know if the UI/webinterface is dropping out or if boinc or the underlying OS is actually crashing. Will investigate further.

I'll keep playing. Thought I'd mention it hear since it was new to me and I try to keep an ear out for stuff like this.
