It's not designed to run on TV boxes? - but yes, most low to mid range android devices still have 1GB of ram, so the project requirements exclude it. I've heard that they're considering reducing the RAM requirements - my low-end 1GB RAM tablet ran a few RALPH@Home (Rosetta's alpha/beta) WUs, but now it doesn't.

Android TV hardware can be more powerful than phones. I have an NVIDIA Shield that has a really powerful GPU yet I can't run R&H because I get the same RAM error that you guys are getting. Can a developer address this?
Android for the most part will try to keep the RAM filled so you can switch between apps easily.
