Hi, I have installed boinccmd in a Centos 7 VM (kvm). The vm has 8 vcpu and 4 GB of memory. I have noted that boinc only run one task in one vcpu:

1) -----------
name: 1fm5fz4k_jhr_design1_COVID-19_SAVE_ALL_OUT_903459_1_1
WU name: 1fm5fz4k_jhr_design1_COVID-19_SAVE_ALL_OUT_903459_1
project URL: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/
received: Sun Apr 5 00:56:22 2020
report deadline: Mon Apr 13 00:56:21 2020
ready to report: no
state: downloaded
scheduler state: scheduled
active_task_state: EXECUTING
app version num: 412
resources: 1 CPU
estimated CPU time remaining: 21517.972794

With the other 7 vcpu idle. How to force to boinc to download more task to run in the other vpcu?

I believe the COVID tasks are tagged as requiring 2GB of memory per active thread. So you may want to run along with BOINC projects that need less memory to run. Then the two could run alongside one another.

I have increased memory of vm to 8GB, so if COVID tasks are tagged as requiring 2GB of memory per active thread, in theory It can run two or three more tasks, but not, it continue to run only one task.

How much memory is BOINC allowed to use? See your preferences.

In principle 90%:

How are the CPU preferences set for this host? Are there any messages in the event log? Which of your hosts are we talking about?

Hi, I have found the problem, it's the lack of space on disk (I have noted that I have very little disk only for the system). Now I have increase the disk space and I have more tasks running.
