To follow up on this question: I would like to donate some time to doing one or more of these ports. In particular Irix and Alpha Linux would be my choices. Nothing wrong with the others, I just have tool chains available for these two platforms. I am willing to sign an NDA if that is required..

I may have tool chains for BSD and HPUX too.... I just don't do much of those these days... Just like I don't do windows....

In a other thread the moderator has written, that they did not plan to port it to the different Unixes.

But at SIMAP,SETI and Einstein are binaries for a lot of different Unixes available.
Linux Alpha, Irix and FreeBSD Einstein. Linux Alpha, HPUX, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD at SIMAP. *BSD, Irix, Linux Alpha and HPUX at SETI.

Please look into these chart at the boinc wiki for more details : http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/index.php?title=Choosing_a_BOINC_Powered_Project
