I did that just for you Sid. All kidding aside, there were some minirosetta_android jobs stuck in limbo since the app was deprecated. I'll send you a message with a direct contact that you can use to alert me to such issues in the future. Thanks! |

I did that just for you Sid. All kidding aside, there were some minirosetta_android jobs stuck in limbo since the app was deprecated *Shucks* I could've done with those tasks, even if they weren't going anywhere. No less useless than every Seti job since the day that project started... I'll send you a message with a direct contact that you can use to alert me to such issues in the future. Thanks! Steady... I'm not sure I can hack the responsibility - nor combine it with my busy schedule during lockdown Oh! You weren't joking Mental note: not chucked out <just yet> |

I was not joking, already sent. The unsent tasks were ok to remove for the researcher since enough data was obtained. |

Can we please follow the forum rules and focus the discussion on COVID-19 related research? I've been spending too much time away from more important duties for COVID-19 research having to monitor this thread. I may have to lock this thread if it persists. |

Does anyone know what "Junior HalfRoid vs COVID-19" in project name mean? I'm only getting WU names like that and it made me a little bit curious. Also one file mentions database and methyl. |

These are Brian's scaffold designs for COVID-19. The database is the rosetta database and includes N-methylated amino acid rotamer libraries for designing cyclic peptides which can be therapeutics. |

...long list of target proteins we're interested in for COVID-19 (some of which are COVID-19 itself). I'm so confused. No idea what proteins you're talking. Would love to hear more details. Covid-19 is the disease. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus. NSP1, NSP2, NSP3, NSP4, NSP5, NSP6, NSP7, NSP8, NSP9, NSP10, NSP12 NSP13, NSP14, NSP15 ,NSP16, S, ORF3a, E, M, ORF6, ORF7a, ORF8, N & ORF10 are the proteins. |

Suspended most of my other projects for now when I heard about Rosetta doing work for the virus. Tried to run the Folding app but seemed to not like my system too much. Glad I can do something small for it. Greetings from Queens, NY. Stay safe everyone. |

Suspended most of my other projects for now when I heard about Rosetta doing work for the virus. Good! Spread the word so more people can join the fight against the virus with their PC! |

My Android pixel 2xl is an arm64 device but it's not getting any Wu's. Something else I need to do? |

I'm happy to see more WU coming through, with 5/8 labeled as COVID 19! |

Just discovered that Rosetta@Home is helping out in this fight. Redirecting the entire fleet, as it were, to both Rosetta and Ralph now. Asking my somewhat long-lost team members at Team-SciFi to also do the same. Anyone need a team to crunch this for...? ;) look for Team-SciFi over at Rosetta if so... <end shameless plug> Phoenix The Liver is EVIL. It must be PUNISHED! Team-SciFi |

For people running older MacOS machines that were not able to crunch 4.12 tasks (Covid ones).. They just released 4.15 and it appears to be running fine on older hardware again. Thanks to the Dev's for figuring out the problem. |

Indeed, there are a lot of threads about asking GPU WUs for Rosetta and other projects. GPU programming was sucks 10 years ago, and today it evolving already but nowadays it is much easier with OpenCL and CUDA however it needs CPU component. GPU has much bigger computing power but much harder to develop WUs to it too. BUT! If a dev team of a project does not seeing the fantasy in get GPUs to work then we, donors there is no other way, choice a project that using our GPU potential and disabling CPU WUs. The causes is various. One of my donor PC has a GTX960 with a weak CPU but FAH works on it smoothly, ~6hours/WU and I'm feel that I would like, fighting against covid19 with my PCs and solar panels. |

Yup, if you want to use your GPU, Folding is a perfect choice. Unluckily not every problem can be efficiently run on a GPU. |

Sorry but need to ask serious question. Should we now also be worried about hantavirus as cases in china popping up. Also should this be looked into. Hope not because incubation period is 8 weeks and symtoms to COVID-19 similar. |

Very proud to be able to contribute in the fight against COVID-19. I will do my best to support this project. Infinite thanks to all human beings who are fighting this Pandemic on all fronts. Thanks Rosetta@home. For a Better World! |

Should we now also be worried about hantavirus as cases in china popping up. The hantavirus is endemic to the Southwest U.S. It is spread by rodents, and new cases pop up every few years. I doubt it is a major problem just because there are a few cases in China, but you never know. |

Dear all, I‘ve got a question popping up in the back of my head, and I hope, you won‘t get me wrong. As we‘re all enthusiastic to offer capacity, I think, we‘re all doing this with the intention to help worldwide in this case. I‘m from Germany, and please excuse if I‘ll hurt someones feelings, but all of what I‘ve learned in my life so far prevents me from trusting Donald Trump in the slightest. The servers for which we‘re currently working are located in the US, is that correct? Is there something like a proof, that our contribution will be used to help ALL COUNTRIES, regardless of Trump‘s „America first“ promises? |

Dear all, This project was around long before Trump was president, and it will continue to be around long after he's gone. |
