I saw a similiar post but didn't see any response to this...
I am very new to this application. I have processed 10 work units and 2 of them have blown up. If this is in an expected range due to software memory leaks, etc, fine. But if I need to adjust preferences I would like to know what to do.

I'm using:
BOINC Manager 5.2.13
Rosetta version 4.82
Computer is a Dell D610 laptop, 2.8 Ghz Pentium
Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 1

The following are the two error messages:

=================================================
Work Unit: 9532872 Result ID: 11837689

stderr out

<core_client_version>5.2.13</core_client_version>
<message> - exit code -164 (0xffffff5c)
</message>

you might want to see this post on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) list. Since you are new you might want to look over the rest of the FAQs too. If you don't find an answer there you might try posting youyr question in the NUMBER CRUNCHING Forum. A lot of people there to help you out.

phil
