My Rosetta seems to need a great deal of connection time to upload and especially download. I'm using a dial-up connection, so I know it will take longer, but right now there are two full screens of files either downloading or waiting to download. Every time I go near my computer, it's saying that BOINC needs to connect. I'm new to this, but when I used to run just SETI at Home, the upload and dowload time was usually just a couple of minutes for jobs that ran for 24 hours or so on my computer. Am I doing something wrong? Is Rosetta just not right for my system? Thank you.

Help is here for this problem. Go to your project specific preferences and adjust the 'target CPU run time' to something more appropriate. This controls how long a task will run on your hosts and can be set to run for as much as 4 days for a single task.
