I got frequent "Client Error" messages on all Windows machines (2000 SP4, XP SP 2) where I ran Rosetta.

Einstein@home and SETI@home seem to have no problems on those machines. In fact, I haven't succeeded to push through results on PCs, only on Macs with OS X, which seem to be more stable.

Since it happened on 4 PCs, I don't believe it is my error.

How about the others? Maybe I am doing something wrong after all?

STDERR appears usually something like this:

<core_client_version>5.2.13</core_client_version>
<message> - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)
</message>
<stderr_txt>

***UNHANDLED EXCEPTION****
Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x77F9D134 read attempt to address 0x40622AAC

Exiting...

</stderr_txt>

Or like this:

<core_client_version>5.2.13</core_client_version>
<message> - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)
</message>
<stderr_txt>

***UNHANDLED EXCEPTION****
Reason: Access Violation (0xc0000005) at address 0x7C911E58 read attempt to address 0xBDA667E5

Exiting...

</stderr_txt>

Thank you,
Marvin
