Rosetta@home is a beta project (a project with constantly changing code that is likely to crash on your system from time to time). Rosetta Alpha, abbreviated to Ralph, is an alpha project (a project with very early code developments that will frequently crash on your system). The final release version of the Rosetta software is what is then licensed to the various academic and corporate organisations that participate in the Rosetta research.
