Can some kind soul explain why I have zero work units in my queue for Rosetta@home on my computer Colt2-HP_DT? I think I'm supposed to have 7 days in the queue. Harry |

Harry is saying his machine is set to have an even larger cache of work on hand. Harry, the shortage of available work has only occurred within the past 12 hours or so, so there must be other reasons your machine did not maintain the desired 7 days of work. In order to be out of work now, you must have not had the desired 7 days of work for the past week or so. The only machine I see in your list that has reported back all of it's results is the Windows machine you just added, which earlier in the week completed the one and only work unit it ever was sent. I just checked my queue and there are still zero Rosetta WU available. This machine doesn't seem to have any problems downloading Seti, Einstein or boincsimap WU. Why is there a problem with this computer (computer ID 1176665)? My other two computers don't seem to have any problems with Rosetta. Thanks for any guidance you can provide. Harry, at this point I would chalk it up to whatever the current problems are with WUs quickly failing, and the server having a hard time keeping up serving work. In the meantime, BOINC will get work from projects where work is available. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

The problem is solved. Under the Projects Tab there is a reset button. It is a pity there is no way to "cut and paste" contents of such things as contents of Project Properties and so forth. The scheduling portion of which had some very large negative numbers. By clicking the Project Reset button solved the problem. Thanks to all for your guidance. Harry Harry's problem seems to be he hasn't had any work units on this particular computer, for quite some time. I was thinking myself on a problem with the memory/diskspace settings in BOINC itself. |
