I created three profiles when I first started, "Work", Home", and "School" all with different settings. I wanted to delete home and work and create others with more descriptive names but can't remove them. Any ideas?

The names of the "venues" are fixed. So, you cannot create a new one called "laptop" or "Mac" or whatever. You have to use one of the existing names.

Depending on what you wanted to change, you may be able to attain your goal by setting the local preferences on the machine. In the simple view, click "Preferences". In the grid view, click "Advanced" then "Preferences".

So where Work, Home and School already there? I thought I created them when I first started setting up my participating machines. And yes, I'd love to delete "Work"!

Yes, they were already there, but using the default preferences. If you like, you may delete the preferences out of a venue, but the venue names will still exist, and you cannot add other venue names.
