platform '' not found (empty string)

I guess the program failed to recognize my cpu. Can I set it manually somewhere and what is it supposed to be? My cpu is an AMD 64 and I am running debian linux. I installed boinc using apt. I'll try to manually install the newest version now. Edit: Thanks for your help, I think it's working now. Back then it was a compile issue. fixed by upgrading to 5.8.x obviously your running 32 bit boinc on a 64 bit system if you need ia32libs. ID: 48989 · Rating: 0 · rate: / Reply Quote
