My WU start to run and never seems to go anywhere It has stuck at 1.00% progress with 3:24:49 to completion. I am running several other projects and most of them seem to be running ok (having some problems with CP and BURP) I am about ready to pull the plug on all of them and say the heck with it. If anybody can help me with this issue I'd sure apprieciate it. Thanks in advance,

Well at least I'm not the only one with this problem (not that it makes me feel any better...) I had already set my preferences to 120 mins and "leave in memory" a long time ago, still no good so I just upped it to 180 mins, maybe that will help... I have rebooted my computer several times since that WU hung up as well as restarted BOINC client with no help. I finally said the heck with it and I just now reset my project (no loss since I have yet to complete a WU) :( Hopefully resetting it will start me over with a new WU and maybe it will work better than the last one. (seems to me like some WU's have flaws of some kind after reading that thread. Thanx for letting me know about that thread, I looked for a thread with my problem before starting this new one but missed that one. Thanx again,

Just had a quick look at your result, and I notice that you have 5 result and they're all errors.

1 has the error code: 0xc0000142
and the others have: 0xc0000005

On an AMDXP 2800+, WinXP SP2

I'd suggest that maybe you'd want to reduce Rosetta's resoruce share for now until there's a new Rosetta client version. There's a lot of people having issues so it'll probably be fixed sooner rather than later.

Thanx for your effort and quick replies... I guess I'll just plug along till a newer client version arrives, and maybe I'll get lucky. I did notice one thing that was odd though, and that was even though I have my prefs set to run each client for 120 (now 180) minutes, the rosetta client was only running a few mins at a time and then switching back to one of my other projects. Not sure why. I'm also having the same issues (client running but no progress) on my Climate Prediction model but that I think is due to my computer not having enough free space (I have 2 120 gig HDD's but they are pretty well full at this point) and the fact that those WU's are HUGE and take forever to timestep into a percentage that can be reported. Maybe I'm just not meant to find out the meaning of life after all LOL. Once again thank you for responding,

The "switch between application..." setting in the general preferences is an at most setting. So the boinc client will run the Rosetta client at most 180 mins (in your case), but if for whatever reason it decides to run something else, then it'll switch.

Yeah, the new CPDN sulphur client is a beast... :P
