The last two WU's to complete have produced error messages similar to the following:-

After the error occurred, I was also unable to connect to any websites.
I disconnected from internet, then reconnected. I was then able to upload the WU using Retry. All other internet connections were also back to normal.
This is using ADSL broadband connection.
It seems strange that my internet connection should go haywire when it tries to contact Rosetta@Home!
Everything seemed to be working fine till yesterday.
Any ideas gratefully received!
Thanks, Alan

Nothing to dreadful here... Rosetta's trying to connect but can't. It did not 'take down' your internet connection. Are you using a wireless router?

Just using a USB ADSL WAN adapter (Sagem F@st 800).
I should have another Rosetta WU finishing in about 20 mins. I'll report on what happens,
Alan

WU has uploaded with no problems. Must have been a glitch with my internet connection!

It is the internet and glitches happen, ISPs have problems, nodes go bonkers, wires get noisy, the stock market falls, your computer gets lazy, and I have a headache, all these things make for a lousy connection, well most of them ;0)
