I got rosetta@home project in my BOINC client with following parameters.

Account: TestPilot
Team: FaDBeens
Resours share: 100

I want to change that to:

Account: TestPilot
Team: Gentoo Linux Users Everywhere
Resours share: 1000

Basically just change team and increase resource share.
When I highlite rosetta@home project and press "Your account" button I'm getting page with following info:

Account data for TestPilot
Rosetta@home member since 23 Sep 2005
Country Ukraine
Total credit 18,311.07
Recent average credit 23.13
Team FaDBeens
Computers View
Message boards 4 posts

But the problem that I could not change my settings from here!
When I higlight rosetta@home project in BOINC client and press "Your preferences" button I'm getting page with following information:

Name Administrator
Country Canada
Team Gentoo Linux Users Everywhere | Quit team
Message boards 4 posts
Rosetta@home member since 13 Jun 2006
Total credit 0.00
Recent average credit 0.00
Cross-project ID: 9b7f643d254637f1aba65f8b99a1d0e6
Stats on your cell phone https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/userw.php?id=94806
Account number
Used in URLs 94806

Here I can do whatever I want - set prefferences, change team, resource share and email. But that is for account named "Administrator", not for account "TestPilot"!

I can log out/log in on both pages, but dosent matter what password/email I try, i'm getting logged on only into "Administrator" account, or not getting loged on at all. What should I do to change my settings? Keeping TestPilot account is a must, I don't want to start from scrach.

PS: If you are admin or whatever - please not publish my emails here.

If you're trying to change your server account from the BOINC client buttons then that might be it. Try logging into the server on the Rosetta home page. I suspect that BOINC is trying to access two different accounts.

Your current account seems to be userID: Administrator.

Try logging into that on the home page server and see if you can change your account information there.

Oh, I don't know how to login using Account name! If I use email+password associated with TestPilot account - I'm getting into Administrator account. And yes - I do know my email+password for TestPilot, it work fine for QMC and SIMAP projects, I could login there as TestPilot no problem!!!
I pretty much sure that on 13 June I have created new account with different name("Administrator") for Rosetta with same email - that is what causing problems. But I do want to use testPilot, I don't want to be an Administrator in Rosetta@Home!

When you log in to the TestPilot account, will it let you make any of the other changes allowed on the "your account" page?

i.e. Change (email address) (password) (other account info)
create a profile?
change any of your general preferences, Rosetta preferences, or Message board preferences?

If the quiting the team isn't an option, blame Nec. :) Perhaps stop in to the FadBeens forum and let them try and convince you to stay?

On a serious note, if you've told the system to keep you logged in as Administrator, perhaps the cookie is causing a conflict with logging in as TestPilot. Try a different browser than normal.. or try logging in on computer that doesn't have Boinc installed and see if that helps.

How about changing the email account on Administrator to a new hotmail account? And see if that helps.

Actually, your user ID is stored on your BOINC client. I believe the solution is to go to the projects tab, select "no new tasks", then abort any Rosetta tasks you have (or finish them, but it's under this "administrator" ID), update the project. Then Detach Rosetta. ...now attach to Rosetta again, and set it up with your "existing" TestPilot account's EMail address and password.

P.S. I'm sure the project team will be glad to see posts from "administrator" coming in as "TestPilot" too! :)

Never mind me. I got it backwards. If you go to your browser's tools or network options and delete cookies then that will eliminate the stuck cookie. You show two accounts active. Since TestPilot is where your credits reside then you might try to remove the Administrator account and see if that helps.

I'm guessing since I don't recall having this problem myself.

No I could not change anything. The only way I see TestPilot https://boinc.bakerlab.org/ web page is when I pressed "Your Account" button in boinc client.

perhaps the cookie is causing a conflict with logging in as TestPilot. Try a different browser than normal.. or try logging in on computer that doesn't have Boinc installed and see if that helps.
I tryed to use Opera /Firefox. Both do not automatically log me in - both times when I used credentials of TestPilot(the one that work for QMC/SIMAP) - i got logged into Administrator account.

How about changing the email account on Administrator to a new hotmail account? And see if that helps.
I did it - in fact I changed it to ****@lycos.com account i already had. Now when i'm using my real email to login rosetta says: No account found with email address ****@gmail.com . Gmail is my real email, using that email I still can log in to QMC/SIMAP using Opera, Internet Explorer keeps me there logged in there automatically.

Detach Rosetta. ...now attach to Rosetta again, and set it up with your "existing" TestPilot account's EMail address and password.
If i do that I will end up having Administrator account! If u attach to the project it will ask you your email/password. And rosetta tend to log me in when I eneter email/password as Administrator. But in client I'm TestPilot in Rosetta... I do want to keep it that way.

I'm sure the project team will be glad to see posts from "administrator" coming in as "TestPilot" too! :)
Yeah I agree - kinda stupid nickname.

If you go to your browser's tools or network options and delete cookies
I'm very afraid cookies have nothing to do with this problem. I could not log in as TestPilot from Opera, and last time I used Opera was like couple years ago.

Go to Notepad, and open the following file:
/program files/boinc/client_state.xml

Now look for the project entry for Rosetta, it should look like this:

....bunch of stuff at top of the file.
<project>
    <master_url>https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/</master_url>
    <project_name>rosetta@home</project_name>
    <user_name>Feet1st</user_name>
    <team_name>MNRochester</team_name>
...and on with the rest of the file.

So... what's your's say on this computer? "Administrator"? (if so, follow my prior directions), or "TestPilot"? (if so, I'm baffled too).

{edit} oh and don't just CHANGE it there... there are encoded passwords and things that go with it. If you just follow the steps I outlined, all of that gets taken care of for you. ...so just close the Notepad when you're done looking.

When you press the button on the Boinc client, it opens up IE with the TestPilot info. How about changing your default browser to FireFox and pressing on the button in the Boinc client to open up the TestPilot page in FF. Does it let you change preferences now?

When you choose Login - it gives you the option of logging in with an account key. On the the left, it says, "if you don't know your account key.. click here." If you click there, it asks for your email, and will send your account key(s) there. If it sends you two, then you're in luck. If it only sends you Administrator's account key, then perhaps others have run across this situation before and can offer a solution that worked in the past.

Make no difference - FF behave exactly same as IE.

When you choose Login - it gives you the option of logging in with an account key. On the the left, it says, "if you don't know your account key.. click here." Yeah, it sends just "Administrator" account key. Furthermore, if I change email of "Administrator" - it do not send anything to "Administrator"'s previous email, it say No account found with email address ****@****.com. Looks like all my emails(I got 3 total I use) ether not in the system, or associated with Administrators account.
