Pah! Knowledge should be public. But wasn't there some fussy company who insisted on https before they'd join? And that caused a lot of bother!!If it's your data at risk you have the right to make a few requests especially if what you are doing is trying to be first to the market with the results. |

Back in topic It doesn't really matter where they're run, but I agree it's better to put the unstable ones in the beta where the users don't care so much. But if they only seldom crash, does it matter? I can't remember the last broken Rosetta task. Still errors with File: ......srcprotocolsmotif_graftingmoversMotifGraftMover.cc:537 I started to report this error in Ralph since August. After 6 months, the same error in production Not so good... |

Yes I do, I think it's insane for 5 companies to reinvent the wheel. Share your findings and the world is a better place. But wasn't there some fussy company who insisted on https before they'd join? And that caused a lot of bother!! |

And that caused a lot of bother!! NO NO NO the first one to market gets most of the cash, the next ones to market better have a better widget or they won't last except on the fringes and that means alot of work to rake in a little bit of cash. Sharing data means someone else is going to jump the gun while you try to 'be nice' and get screwed!!! FaceBook was not the first to be selling peoples data but they sure do sell ALOT of it, they even bought up new companies and created 'relationships' with companies thru their 'privacy notices' saying ANYTHING you share with any of their WIDE range of companies can legally be shared with and by FaceBook to make even MORE money!!! Facebook is ALSO the single largest entity buying ads on porn sites as their are ALOT of people with ALOT of credit card data, and even MORE companies they can then rape for your data!!! Now Google, Apple, Microsoft and a whole host of other companies are now in on the game of selling our data to any company willing to pay for it and that includes every company at the local shopping center to the grocery store to anyplace you go online!!! In short data is VALUABLE and should NOT be shared without our permission, and not the 50 page lawyer typed 'privacy notices' companies use. |

Sharing data means someone else is going to jump the gun while you try to 'be nice' and get screwed!!!Sorry but I disagree completely. Now I usually hate communists, I don't like government control, but there is one thing I detest about capitalism, this imaginary ownership of "intellectual property". They need to think of the bigger picture. It's pure insanity for 5 companies to invent the same thing. If they worked together they could make it sooner or better. We'd have cured the coronavirus by now if they weren't patenting all the ideas and messing about. The worst I get is spam texts or emails or advert banners, all of which I block. |
