My general preference is for no work to be done when I'm using the computer, but rosetta continues to run its work. How do I change this?

Assuming Rossetta is your only project on the BOINC platform, then it should't be a problem

Though your operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) and some other general info maybe useful. And the Boinc version you are using (e.g. 5.2.13)

and your setting your preferences here
https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/prefs_edit_form.php?subset=global
and that your also using the default location.

these setting should be set as follows;
Do work while computer is in use? = NO
Do work only after computer is idle for = 2mins (or whatever you want)

Then save settings.

Then in BOINC Mananger you need to update
e.g. Projects Tab, select Rosetta, hit the update button.

you should then see something like this in the messages view
10/04/2006 19:04:16|rosetta@home|URL: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/;
10/04/2006 19:04:16||General prefs: from rosetta@home (last modified 2006-04-10 15:46:53) Computer ID: 12345; location: default; project prefs: default
10/04/2006 19:04:16||General prefs: using separate prefs for work

and it should work.

In addition to the above, you will have to set your local BOINC client to "Run using preferences". This option can be found under the BOINC "Commands" menu.

Which is probably the more obvious answer as well.

[Note for future readers, it will be under the 'Activity' Menu]
