But... : I still get the same error-message and no work ! :-(

Thanks again, it's running ! :-D

After restarting boinc (re-read config dont works) i got 8 wu's.
Now 2 Rosetta- and 2 TN-Grid-wu's (need only 40 MB/wu) share 1 Raspi.

And now the same again for my 2. Raspi ;)

Could anyone here please share what power consumption from the wall of a fully loaded raspberry Pi 4 (or other ARM platform) has without anything plugged in other than power & SD card (i.e., no HDMI, network, USB)?

Adding just a few lines to one of the configuration-files will solve these problems.

I have been running rosetta@home for a couple of weeks now and my Pi4 has never been idle... Enough work to do!

The rumored Pi4 8GB model is now available for purchase. To quote from their blog post on raspberrypi.org:

The BCM2711 chip that we use on Raspberry Pi 4 can address up to 16GB of LPDDR4 SDRAM, so the real barrier to our offering a larger-memory variant was the lack of an 8GB LPDDR4 package. These didn’t exist (at least in a form that we could address) in 2019, but happily our partners at Micron stepped up earlier this year with a suitable part. And so, today, we’re delighted to announce the immediate availability of the 8GB Raspberry Pi 4, priced at just $75.

I assume that is USD. Also a 64 bit version of Debian is in the works with Pi specific customizatons (They don't want to refer to it as Raspbian apparently).

Well, an 8gb pi would sure solve all the problems with running out of memory when using Rosetta. At $75 it’s starting to get a bit expensive though given its still an arm processor.

8GB wow, maybe one day we'd have RPi that runs more like AMD's threadrippers lol
