Description The team consists of medical staff, nurses, employees and friends of Westlake Regional Hospital. The purpose of this team is to cooperate with the Rosetta@home project to determine the natural shape of proteins based on their amino acid composition. Knowledge of protein configuration will aid in the design of custum drugs for treatment of Alzheimer's, AIDS and cancer. This information is also utilized in understanding the basic pathophysiology of diease states.
