With Einstein@home having what appears to be some extended downtime, I just installed Rosetta on a couple of my machines and will more than likely continue to run Rosetta even after Einstein@home is back up. But I'm having a problem getting enough work to last for more than a few hours.

It doesn't seem to matter whether I set the connect to network every 1 day or 10 days, I recieve the same 3 work units. I was also told by a friend that the "target run time" will produce about the same number of credits if 4 units are run at 6 hrs each or 1 run with a target of 24 hrs.

All I'm trying to do is set up the program that will allow me to download enough work for several days. What settings would produce something along those lines? I have 5 machines with Rosetta running on 2 (so far) and none are connected. 1 is a 1.4 Athlon, the other is a 64bit Athlon running at approx. 2.2.

Thanks,

i see you have another post already answered regarding this issue.
all i was going to suggest was that you check your general preferences and your @home preferences and change those values and see what you get.
Also take a look in your @home pref. and see what your run time is. I have mine at 8hrs, previously had it at 6.
