Do I understand that Rosetta@home requires new VirtualBox? I have and user HyperV and virtualbox crashes my PC. Do you recommend something else? Or should I just go away (with my 10.000.000 work done)

Only if you want to run Rosetta Tasks. If so, download & install the current version of BOINC that include VirtualBox. If not, then you can wait along with everyone else for when they release more Rosetta 4.20 work.

If you do choose to process Python Taks, you will only be able to run 1 Task at a time as each one requires 8GB of RAM (although it only uses 1.5GB or less), unless you decide to significantly upgrade your system's RAM.

Thanks, Grant

I hope it will not interfere with the Hyper-V machines I"m running.

I thought VirtualBox and HyperV were incompatible with each other?

From the last VirtualBox v6.1.30 release notes:
VMM: Fixed 6.1.28 regression preventing VMs starting when using Hyper-V mode on Windows 10

Ok. I can no longer contribute to Rosetta. I hate this as it used to be a great place. But no longer works for me. Let someone let Dr. Baker know please?

I'm starting now and I realize that BOINC is using cpu only, I have a very good video card being wasted, would anyone know how I can configure BOINC to use only the video card?

BOINC is not restricted to CPU only, Rosetta is restricted to CPU only but several other projects use GPUs.
