Not sure when it started, but the new servers seem to have problems in the statistics. The results seem to be okay when sorted by the default of recent average work, but the sort by total work done is broken. Slightly motivating to see where I am and where I might wind up if I don't leave the project, but... I only exist in the first list? I can easily find where I should be based on my total work, but there's no trace there.

Minor problems: The announcement of the server upgrade from a month ago was never displayed to me (in the Notices tab) before that upgrade, but since then it has been popping up from time to time. One day there were two copies of it on one of my machines. Seems to be related to some kind of initialization problem in the client?

Pretty sure I noticed some other minor problem, but it's slipped from my mind right now... I was hoping that starting this paragraph would jog my memory, but so far nothing...

Overall the new servers feel faster and more responsive, but my main annoyance remains unaddressed. I have a couple of machines that I don't run for long periods of time. Therefore I would prefer they not download work units that cannot be completed within their deadlines, and the project persists in sending down unreasonable amounts of work. Actually, if I humored my wife more, then the problem would be much worse. She would prefer that I conserve more electricity, but there are a couple of computers that I allow to run longer than they need to mostly so that they can finish pending Rosetta@home work. (I tend to use several computers at a time, largely based on the best one for each task.) For my limited-use computers I still want smaller work units or longer deadlines, neither of which is an option.

Never mind? Seems to be working normally now. Maybe I slipped a decimal point for several days? Or something weirder?
