It's for use with Credit Cards, means they charge you a percentage every day for doing some work ;-)


Really it's a way of showing some thanks for the work you have done for them.
Which then can add some fun (or missery) for teams to have some competitions and this often causes people to do more crunching than they would normally (probably the back bone of the large DC project)
so really they are a way to get people to help out and do a group/companys work.


At Rosetta, credit means very little other than you did some work.
Credit should be equal for the the same amount of 'work done', at rosetta it is not (actually it is far from it). But they know about this and should hopefully come up with reasonable ways to fix it without large detriment to the work that actually needs doing.

Thanks guys for clearing that up for me, lol i was going through the community wondering why all the bickering about credits and i had no idea what they were for......figured i was missing out on something, lol.......

i am just glad we can help the world just alittle if even from just the computer........

thanks again and i hope everyone gets the credit they deserve, lol :)

Just don't start looking at them, look at me, 9 computers in the house, fully disabled with mental illness and depressed because I don't have enough computing power ...

So, put down that signature and step away from the computer and no one gets hurt ...
