I attached to rosetta@home via "boinccmd --project_attach https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta [accout_id]", but no tasks are generated. The same thing with seti@home and many tasks appear?!?!?! What am I doing wrong?

The project had been getting behind on a large influx of new users prior to the outage. They are planning some upgrades, but, unfortunately, that wasn't the reason for the outage. So flow of work may be hit and miss. I'd guess things will settle down sometime Wednesday. But new tasks may be still be intermittent.

I have not been able to get a new Rosetta task for many months. Setti keeps plugging away but Rosetta constantly indicates "Communication deferred"?? Running manager 7.6.33 on a Mac OS.

Looks like you now have received some tasks on the host associated with the account ID you posted from. So you must have found the issue.

For reference in case someone had that problem too:

When you add Rosetta to your BOINC instance, go to projects, select Rosetta and click UPDATE. It will download required files and install itself.

Then it will start operating as wished .
