Hi, I´m having following problem - after a few years decided to start using of BOINC Man. again. It automatically connected to my old projects World Com. Grid a Rosetta. Problem is that I do not remember my login for my account in rosetta and cannot connect to the team I chose (with W.C. Grid I had no problem).
So now, in my Boinc Manager rosetta is shown under my old user name, which I unfortunately cannot update etc.
Additionally, I cannot remove rosetta from my Boinc man. - the button is simply not working.

My old account is: gr51382, created 28 Dec 2009
My new account is: VasikV, created 28 Mar 2015

Is there any chance to make my Boinc manager recognize my new acount, which I have connected with my team so that the results will be counted for my team?

Thanks a lot for help in advance.

I've never seen BOINC Manager not allow removal of a project. Go to the advanced view, to the projects tab, and click on the line with Rosetta. Then the button actions should be enabled.

From there you should be able to remove R@h, then add it back under your new account credentials.

Thanks a lot for help, but believe me I´ve tried that. :-) I even tried older version of Boinc...the same problem.
Every single project I run can be removed. However, R@h can´t. The button is simply disabled. :-/
I´d love to continue working on this project amd do not care about those "old" credits from the past. But Boinc simply does not recognise my profile connected to my team and is "blocked" by this old one... :-///

Is there any chance to solve this?

Many thanks for help.

My only other suggestion would be to mark projects for "no new work"; Crunch through the tasks that you have; record where BOINC is storing the project data (see event log just after startup); uninstall BOINC Manager; remove the project data folder; reinstall BOINC Manager and reattach to your projects.

Apparently this type of problem can be caused if you used a third party account manager like Grid Republic or BAM to sign up originally. The normal process would be to use the same third party tool to remove the account.

However, if you didn't use a third party account manager or can't remember how to access it after all this time, Mod.Sense's solution should hopefully resolve the problem.
