Hi,
It seems that new versions of Minirosetta (now 1.98) are being released and causing validation problems with some anti- virus programs. My ati-virus system, Kaspersky denies these new versions and deems then potentially dangerous. I believe it to be the same problem regarding unsigned programs which I understood to have been resolved.
This problem with the introduction of new versions of Minirosetta needs resolving as it is a waste of resources both for system administrators and users.
Can you please update us with your understanding of the problem and what is being done to resolve it.
Cheers

I would suggest you post this question on the number crunching board. And use a subject line that is more to your point. The Project Team monitors the Number Crunching board more frequently.

It sounds like you misunderstood another issue with signatures that occurred recently. The BOINC system has signatures of its own. And there was a file signature that was wrong on a limited number of batches of work that was throwing things off for a while. This has been resolved. But is different from the problem you are describing.
